Artist's Comments

I've always wanted to paint my plastic models. Be they my Gundam models or airplane models. But since modelers paint is not exactly cheap or easy to apply I've never gotten around to actually doing it.

However, I realized I can still do that. Digitally. I present to you the Conwing L-16 from the Disney Afternoon cartoon "TaleSpin". Also known as the 'SeaDuck', Baloo's signature aircraft.

This was my first venture into indepth texture making. With model aircraft painting as I basis I set out to texture this seaplane. So I learned about weathering, panellines and such.

Programs: Anim8or; PAINT.NET
